HF PWG Meeting Minutes by Zhenyu - 2015/06/11

1) Low pT NPE in Run12 p+p 200 GeV - Shenghui
Xin: Kaon yield estimation fluctuate in pT~0.9 GeV/c. Yifei: yes but its impact on purity is small. Zhenyu: take it into account in the purity systematic uncertainty. Purity is senstive to fit constraints, need to be considered as uncertainties. 
Xiaozhi: difference in tracking efficiency between Shenghui and Xiaozhi are likely due to different track quality cuts: with vs w/o requirement of the first TPC
 point less than 73 cm. Shenghui estimated nHitdEdx cut efficiency from data while Xiaozhi did it from embedding. dca cut 1 vs 1.5cm.

2) Run14 MTD data production strategy - Lijuan
Ongoing efforts to improve Muon ID. Assuming 10%+90% (50%+50%) CPU resources for st_physics+st_mtd data production till August 30, it is projected to have ~800M MB and 1.2B MTD (~1.2B MB and 744M MTD) events available for QM15, a factor of 1.5 and 5.1 (2.3 and 3.2) statistics for HFT and MTD results respectively compared to what were shown in the collaboration week. According to Lijuan, in either cases, uncertainties for Jpsi Raa and v2 are not going to be better than STAR published ones. The Upsilon signal signifance may be i6 sigma if running 90% CPU for MTD data production.
