HF PWG Meeting Minutes by Zhenyu - 2015/07/23
1) Non-flow effect on D0 v2 - Hao
Hijing samples produced by Liang: turned on c production switch, and jet quenching off. Wei: In pythia, according to PYTHIA authors, it means every event has a ccbar pair, no ccbar from gluon splitting. This is good for a first order estimation. Need to use MB if precise results are needed. Don't understand why there are light flavor hadrons as D0 ancestors, could be elastic scattering in hadronic phases. Will check with experts.
To-do-list: consult Hijing experts how to estimate jet fragmentation correlation, or use PYTHIA to estimate non-flow effects.
Should Jet quenching be turned on or off?

2) Vertex resolution studies with KFVertex and Minuit Vertex - Guannan
In the periperal collisions in data, KFVertex has better resolution than Minuit Vertex.
MC vertex resolution is more or less consistent with data.
using 25k MC events, 20 minutes per MC Hijing event to produce, CPU intensive. Probably will use MC to understand what is going on, and rely on Data to get the resolutions.
3) D0 Tree with KFVertex - Guannan
confirm the improvement from KFVertex over Minuit Vertex.
Liang reported that he got more D0 signals, will cross check with Guannan
