Public and Private pages

Under:
Drupal has the ability to make pages public or private. In our current installation of Drupal, a non-public page MUST belong to a private category defined by Organic Groups. Organic Groups (aka OG) allows features as explained in You do not have access to view this node.
For a page to be made non-public, you need to
- Edit a page :-)
- Un-check the Public checkbox
- Be sure you have subscribed to one or more OG - you know if you have done this IF you have an Audience: menu below the Public checkbox
- Check one of the Audience topics (they are all OG)
- Click submit
THe good question is: how do you know the Drupal OG?
On the left hand-side menu, select the line named "Groups". This will list all available Organic Groups. In case of the Software and Computing, and for illustration, a right hand-side menu would show either an action menu or a Subscribe button. The Software and Computing OG allows automatic subscription but this MAY NOT be a general feature (OG owner may require approval).
