Hi, Peter Thanks for the suggestions! We have added the meaning of +/- below Eq(1) in the updated draft: http://www.star.bnl.gov/protected/bulkcorr/rexwg/flow/Parity/BES/PRL/ver12/LPV_BES12.pdf For the magnetic field strength eB, you can find the curves in Fig. A.2 (appendix) of Ref[4], which peak around 10^4 MeV^2, or m_pi^2. Here we mention pion mass to make the readers aware that the magnetic field is strong enough to influence the motion of pions, and this expression has been extensively used in publications of related topics. About the structure of the introduction, your suggestion is definitely one way to meet the taste of some readers. But our style tells a story: first keep it simple with physics motivation and brief definition of the observable. Then leave the equations for later details as we lead the readers step by step into the results. A whole bunch of equations on the first page may better serve the experts, while a general reader may either be freaked out or get bored before they are willing to scroll down to the final results. Any way, we still appreciate your suggestions.
