QA for AuAuY7 (splitting & merging for id-pion correlations)

  1. File Catalog query
    <input URL="catalog:star.bnl.gov?production=P07ie,trgsetupname=2007Production2,
    filetype=daq_reco_MuDst,filename~st_btag,sanity=1,svt=1,ssd=1,tpc=1,
    magscale=FullField||ReversedFullField,runnumber[]8103029-8177059"
    singleCopy="true" nFiles="all" />
  2. Trigger ID
    if( (event->triggerIdCollection().nominal().isTrigger(200003)) || (event->triggerIdCollection().nominal().isTrigger(200013)) )
  3.  Cuts
    1. centrality : [0-20]% due to low statistics
    2. ktbin : [0,0.60]GeV/c - due to low statistics
    3. pariticle cuts - standard PID cuts for pion hbt analysis

Atention!

Plots below are not apple-to-apple comparision. Due to many issues (like statistics) the centrality bin and kT bin are not the same. THe first difference implies a different size of the source - thus the width of the CFs is different (width ~1/R). The second difference implies different purity-  "lambda" parameter. So please focus just on low Q-bins where splitting & merging affect the CF the most.

Splitting in Y2 AuAu@200GeV (ITTF - Mercedes analysis) Splitting in Y4 AuAu@200GeV (ITTF ) Splitting in Y7 AuAu@200GeV (ITTF - TPC+SSD+SVT)

Merging in Y2 AuAu@200GeV (Mercedes analysis)   Merging in Y7 AuAu@200GeV

Conclusions:

  Splitting & merging for id-pions in new production (AuAuY7 with TPC+SSD+SVT) comparable to what we saw previously (AuAuY4 and AuAuY2 (TPT)).
