February 2009 BNL to KISTI data transfer

Following a Mock Data Transfer (MDT) challenge, here are results from transfering data from BNL counting house to KISTI. The parameters were

  • Seven Event builder nodes from the STAR Counting House side
  • Each could do up to 1 Gb/sec to a network infrastructure capable to scale to 10 GB/sec up to LAN

The results are as follow so far: flat 1 Gb/sec is observed.
