Comparison of 2x1 clusters to 3x3 clusters
Updated on Tue, 2008-07-08 13:23. Originally created by jwebb on 2008-07-08 10:54.
0. Run 7136022, EEmc L2gamma triggers
1. Find the leading SMD point in the gamma candidate
2. Identify the two towers which are closest to the SMD point
3. Use SMD point to define direction, and 2x1 tower energy to define magnitude
4. Compare the 3x3 cluster pT (Y axis) to the 2x1 cluster pT (X axis)
NOTE-- if we go strictly by "which tower is closest to the SMD point", there will be a bias towards adding the tower at smaller pseudorapidity. Why? Because the eta-width of the tower increases with increasing eta.
