Improving the Isolation Cut, part III

Abstract:  meh.
 
Figure 1 -- Baseline isolation setup.  No fiducial cuts, toy model leakage correction.
 
Currently we are having problems when reconstructing events near sector boundaries.  (eg part II).  In figure 2, we apply a +/-1.5 degree fiducial cut at sector boundaries.  This will sacrifice 10% of our acceptance.

hmmm no obvious improvement here...

 

Ok, I've tried several things at this point and haven't made a break through.  I'm declaring victory at this point using the baseline correction scheme.  i.e. I've found "few %" not "10 percent" improvement at best for significant additional work.
