2007 BEMC Calibration check with stgamma production electrons

To perform a check on the BEMC calibration for run 7, I began by looking over the electrons from the StGamma production.  There weren't enough statistics to look at individual towers, so I looked in eta rings (See attached pdf).  What's plotted below is the mean for each eta ring of calibrated energy / track momentum.

Another issue I examined was the effectiveness of the geant scale factor, which attempts to correct for the amount of energy leaked into surrounding towers as a function of dR.  What is shown below is the ratio of leaked energy (total energy in the 8 surrounding towers) to the total energy in the cluster.  For charged tracks pointing to surrounding towers, a MIP is subtracted.  We expect there to be no leakage for electrons striking the center of a tower, and up to 30% leakage near the edges.  This plot indicates a neutral energy background.

The following plot shows the ratio of total energy over track momentum as a function of dR again, which is consistent with a constant neutral energy background.

Finally, we have a plot of total energy vs. track momentum.  Unfortunately, this plot indicates a neutral background that is not constant with respect to electron track momentum.
