Using 5000 neutrons generated in GEANT, pointed at tower 481, I examined the actual energy and reconstructed energy in that tower for a range of neutron energies. The neutrons had a flat pt spectrum between 5 and 40 GeV.

For each neutron I plotted (E - E_{centraltower reco})/E. This plot shows how much the neutron showers in the tower.

I checked the energy dependence of the curve above by plotting that versus Energy, but there doesn't seem to be any energy dependence.
