The momentum resolution from the TPC NIM Paper is 2% + 1.5% * pt. To determine the effect of the momentum resolution on the gain calculation, I applied a Gaussian smear to all of the track momenta used in the calculation and compared the gains to the old calculation. We see that this introduces a 1.7% uncertainty in the gain calibration.
