qa-run-8-production-dau-zvpd-ztpc-minuitvf
NOTE: sorry the original post got accidentally deleted ( the wonders of drupal), the old address was : "http://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog-entry/melnimr/2008/oct/06/qa-run-8-production-dau-zvpd-ztpc-minuitvf "
Using the calibrated VPD (local file) for few runs in dAu (9025065 -9027087) I was able to have some QA plots :
I limited the number of MuDst files to 100 "new StMuDstMaker(0,0,"",file,"MuDst",100) " since I am running it interactively and it runs out of memory and gets killed by the kernel.

For HT0 trigger (210500 2.4GeV,
http://www.star.bnl.gov/protected/common/common2008/trigger2008/triggers2008.html):
Out of 17k events where a VPD and a TPC vertex exit ,14k match within
20cm,
=====> 17k/14k = 84.4 %
P.S : the # of entries on the first histogram is for all events including ones without a vpd vertex (so 17k is a subset of that ).

Fig. 2 :zVPD-zTPC (<20cm) (production/MinuitVF)
Fig. 3 : A correlaton of zVPD vs. zTPC (production/MinuitVF)
NOTE: Jan Baleski noted that the horizontal correlation is due to pile up.

Plots below are for MB(VPD-ZDCE):
Out of 3.8k 3.4k (<20cm) ===>85.9%
Running the bfc on dAu using MinuitVF but have PCT tracks removed to
compare with PPV on "steroids".
