It appears from looking at the diagnostic histograms coming out of the L2jet algorithm that something may be wrong with the event files I am using or there may be something wrong with the way the algorithm is reading them.

As a check, I ran the 60k events from the real data, R9067013, through the jet code which I took directly from Jan's directory /star/u/balewski/2008-trigArchive/2rcf-feb21-official/ . The diagnostic histograms look the same as those for the real data shown above.
