The goal was to evaluate the performance of PPV and Minuit with respect to the 2008 pp and dAu collisions, and to improve the vertex finding efficiency where possible.

PPV

The major change in PPV was the removal of post crossing tracks which was in response to the change in the TPC cluseter finder, which allowed for longer range of the TPC time buckets to be used.  This increased the reconstructed length of potential post crossing tracks, and meant that post crossing tracks crossing the central membrane were included.  This was a problem as central membrane crossing tracks were more heavily weighted.  Other small logic corrects were made, including increasing the max R from 190 to 199 cm in matching tracks to the central membrane.

The corrected version of PPV was then evaluated for a series of triggers.
