Run 9 JP Rate Test
Run 9 JP Rate Test
The goal is to look at a singal minbias run and produce distributions of total (adc-ped) for each BTOW and ETOW JP, and compare the distributions to understand why EJP is firing trigger at such a low rate.
Dataset : "zdc_polarimetry" run (i.e. EmcCheck run from Run 9 @ 200 GeV) -> Run = 10117025
EmcCheck run (from Run 8 @ 200 GeV) -> Run = 9064065
-> Since the previous attempt was dominated by pedestal fluctuations this trial only included towers in the JP sum if it's ( ped - adc ) > 10.
Below are figures for the different JP's and the 2D pedestal subtracted tower spectra are attached as well.
Figure 1: BTOW JP run 10117025
Figure 2: BTOW JP run 9064065
For run 10117025 all ETOW channes have ADC = 0 so no JP sums could be produced (maybe problem with production?)
