First- through third-order event plane resolutions measured by the EPD and BBC

In this study, I use 20180 isobar data to measure flattened event plane resolutions of the EPD and BBC. Details of event-plane flattening already performed with this data can be found at:
            https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/adams92/event-plane-resolution-epd-and-bbc-using-2018-isobar-run-data

For the sake of only looking at minimum-bias events, the centrality bin 9, corresponding to 80-100% centrality, has been ignored.

Flattened event plane distributions are compared to the raw (but gain-corrected) event plane distributions below.

Resolutions were then calculated with the proper Bessel Function method (thanks to Isaac Upsal for giving helpful code):

Points with a resolution of 0 and no vertical error bars had a negative <cos(Psi_{A} - Psi_{B})> and were set to zero to avoid taking the square root of a negative number.

We can see that the EPD has significantly better event plane resolutions than the BBC.
