STAR Analysis note # 597 drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/system/files/SN-PRL-W2012_ver1.4.pdf
Slide # 4 a list of all the cuts used for the data, which have the same values of Run 12 cuts, run 12 values page 14 in the analysis.
Slide #5 shows the charge separation for P1 and P2 the top P1 the bottom P2, as we can see p1 have a good charge separation, W+ mis-id fraction = 0.059, W- mis-id fraction = 0.072, but for p2 the charge separation is not good. run 12 plots page 22 in the analysis.
Slide # 6 shows the luminosity for p1 on the top and p2 in the bottom, as we can see p2 have a high luminosity.
Slide # 7 Because of the high luminosity on period 2, changing the track number of hits will help to improve the charge separation, so I change the cut on the number of hits on the track value from 5 to 10, still smaller than the barrel value (15), the cuts changed only for P2.
Slide# 8 shows the charge separation for p1&p2 combined before and after the cut changed, after the cut the W- mis-id fraction changed from 0.21 to 0.12.
Slide # 10 background for both p1 and p2, (p1 878 runs, p2 596 runs). run 12 plot page 33 in the analysis.
slide # 11 shows the background for run 12 and run 13.
slide # 12 shows the value of the background for p1 & p2 and the beta value.
slide # 13, 14 and 15 show the AL plots for p1, p2, and p1 &p2.
Slide # 16 show the numerical value for AL .
Slide # 17 shows the money plot for p1 and 18 show the money plot for both P1 & P2.
Slide # 19 show the systematic uncertainty. page 36,37 and 38 in the analysis note.
