IFF purities
There is a very mild p_t dependence
Integrated over all bins single pion purity is 96%. There is a 4% Kaon contribution and ~0.5% electrons.
That means that the purity for pion pairs is about 92% with the rest pi+/K- and K+/pi- pairs.
These are for single hadrons:
bin nr | pion | kaon | electron |
1 | 95 | 4 | 0.5 |
2 | 96 | 3 | 0.5 |
3 | 96 | 3 | 0.5 |
4 | 96 | 3 | 0.5 |
5 | 96 | 4 | 0.5 |
bin nr | pion | kaon | electron |
1 | 94 | 5 | 0.5 |
2 | 95 | 4 | 0.4 |
3 | 96 | 3 | 0.5 |
4 | 96 | 3 | 0.6 |
5 | 97 | 3 | 0.5 |
Looks like 3% between lowest and highest, but is more something like 2, 94.48% vs 96.55.
In eta the PID is relatively constant: 96.3% for eta bin 0 and 3 and 96% for bins 1,2, probably because the tracks are a little bit shorter.
Note to self: to extract numbers relax PID cuts, otherwise fit won't converge
