(2) I just updated the pp500_production file with thresholds for
emc's/fms as per the 11am mtg today: I followed the convention of
leaving the parameter set to -1 (to pick up the default) where the
default was correct, and explicitly set the value as needed. For the
FMS, I used Carls WAGs. For the EMC's I used the 2009 thresholds...
FMS: all the defaults are set according to Carls request in tier1
file, so no changes.

From Carl: C-AD says we could see an average lumi during a fill of 10^{32} toward the end of this run. Based on past history, we will probably see this luminosity, although our "average" will probably be less.
My current guesstimate from the RICH scaler rates that I've seen so far is that 10^{32} will correspond to a ZDCMB rate of ~330 kHz plus random coincidences.

Now that a number of gas-jet measurements are available for this year's run, it was decided at today's RSC mtg to start reporting p-carbon polarizations using the current best calibration for the correct averaged (over the beam profile) p-carbon analyzing power for 250 GeV. This means that we'll start seeing p-carbon polarizations in the mid 40% range.
