FGT HV change for 10-90 gas mix

 Data taken with 10-90 gas mix were processed.

  • pedestals were computed for each run based on the first 200 events
  • pulse shape finding algo was not changed (ver A), clusters are larger in amplitude and span more  strips
  • maxAdc from pulses are plotted in histograms 
  • spectra R and P-strips were acumulated separately (see attachements A, B) 
  • the R-plane spectra were choosen to decide on the target HV (see e.g. Fig 1), R-strip cover more area, have larger pulses.
  • the nature of the multiple peaks visible at too high HV is not clear, why logic-1  values would be around 2300 adc?
  • Note different # of events are used per HV set - focus on the shape of distribution,  low stats may be due to low number of input events
  • the sequence of HV runs is different for each quadrant, selected to show best HV in lower left corner
  •  Table at the bottom contais proposition of HV for 10-90 gas mix. It is likely 50-100 V adjustements wil be needed after we look at the data w/ new HV

Fig 5. Relative gains from HV set 5, 225k events, runs 13057054+59. Note, the following quads almost not responded to intended HV change: 1D, 4B, 6A. I have verified the hv_set4,5.cvs files were correct, also the gains for respective P-planes (not shows) are also lower for this 3 quads.
