Note: the spbitSeeker.tcl code used in spinQA, with my modifications can be found at /star/u/bsumma/spinQA
For posterity's sake I meantion the main functional differences
1. uses 24 bunch pattern rather than 8
2. markes any beam whose ionSpecies is not "PP" as unpolarized, regardless of what the CDEV output says
