Abstract:

The production of J/psi is reported for |y|<1 in p+p and d+Au collisions at s_NN = 200 GeV/c at the STAR detector.
The p_T spectrum in p+p and d+Au collisions for p_T < 3 GeV/c are presented. This extends the J/psi coverage in
p+p collisions at STAR to 0 < p_T < 14 GeV/c, and is the first measurement of J/psi production in d+Au collisions at
STAR. The J/psi <p_T^2> in p+p
has been calculated and is compared to similar measurements at various collision
energies.
The nuclear modification factor for J/psi versus transverse momentum and collision centrality in d+Au are
presented and
compared to calculations using modified nuclear Parton Distribution Functions and a final-state J/psi
nuclear absorption cross section.
