Update 09.05.2018 -- Run 9 pp: unfolding results, pi0 and gamma triggers (R = 0.5)
Recently, I unfolded the pi0 and gamma-rich triggered data for R = 0.5 charged jets. The shown solutions were selected in the usual manner: first, the pi0 solution is defined to be the one with the chi2 between the data and backfolded solution which is closest to one (and has reasonable error bars); then the corresponding gamma-rich data were unfolded using the same parameters.
The following unfolding parameters were used, and they yielded the following chi2's between the data and backfolding:
eTtrg [GeV] | parameters | chi2 (pi0) | chi2 (gamma) |
9 - 11 | SVD, k = 14 | 4.07 | 4.20 |
11 - 15 | Bayes., k = 5 | 4.46 | 4.50 |
15 - 20 | Bayes., k = 2 | 5.06 | 5.01 |
Below I present the unfolded and backfolded distributions vs. the raw data.
eTtrg = 9 - 11 GeV:
eTtrg = 11 - 15 GeV:
eTtrg = 15 - 20 GeV:
Note that none of the gamma-rich triggered distributions have been corrected yet for background photons. Below are the unfolding results, but with better axis ranges.
