Period 2 Event QA
I've completed the QA for period 2. This covers 760 runs from day 129 to day 161. My goal was to remove runs in order to make the jet tree productions as quick as possible. I removed runs for the following three conditions.
- Run time less than 3 minutes (a few runs were also removed that were just over 3 minutes)
- A "problem" for all jet triggers (problem meaning it was outside +\- 3*RMS for a given quantity investigated)
- Removed runs from Fill 17600
Attached is a presentation summarizing what was done, as well as slides showing plots for before and after the QA was performed. The excel spreadsheets show the details of what quantities(s) where wrong with the run, and comments about the run.
At the moment I have removed 90 runs, 53 from Fill 17600 alone. There are still runs included that have a problem for one trigger, but not for others. I've decided to keep these runs in for the moment, the thought process is that I don't want to be too aggressive removing runs(i.e. statistics), and this QA is being done at the event level, where as the final analysis is done at the di-jet level.
