There are 2018 EPD resolution estimates currently underway. It is unclear if anything will be ready from the EPD group in time.

The large eta coverage of the EPD makes it possible to do complicated eta weighting. Mike is working on this right now (https://drupal.star.bnl.gov/STAR/blog/lisa/phi-weighting-and-optimizing-ring-weights-auau-27-gev)
