EMC Plots for Run17 Tracking Investigation
Updated on Thu, 2018-01-11 15:36. Originally created by jkadkins on 2018-01-11 00:59.
The plots found in the attached powerpoint slides were made to contribute to the effort to understand the issues with the tracking found during the run17 data production. These plots are from the BEMC and EEMC and cover a few good QA values. None of these plots show any particularly strange behavior and neither is a smoking gun for the problem with the data. The only real issues that come out of this are a couple of obviously hot towers, and a spike in the EEMC tower energy on day 106 (which is likely due to the hot tower that shows up in the EEMC on that day).
This blog will serve as documentation for these plots.
