Abstract: I compare the AgSTAR version of the latest TPC geometry to the Root/TGeo version of the TPC geometry, on which it was based.

 

Comparison between AgSTAR TPC model (TPCe04) and the Root/TGeo model from which it was derived:

 

Conclusion: There are massive problems with the latest TPC geometry in starsim.  TPCe04 is missing significant amounts of material.

 

Weight Estimates:

Yuri's model: 6.6 tons (sampling) 7.4 tons (analytic)

Victor's model: 4.5 tons (sampling) 5.9 tons (analytic)

 

We are (literally) missing a ton of material here.
