Thoughts on Geometry Misalignment
Abstract: As we begin to implement AgML into the STAR framework, we should begin to prepare for the next phase of development: extending the capabilities of AgML to address (1) geometry misalginment, (2) provisions for additional TGeo features which are not backwards compatible with starsim, (3) ... .
Some nice talks I came accross on the google:
Our framework is most similar to the approach which Alice takes:
(1) ROOT/TGeo as our target geometry modeler,
(2) A set of alignment objects
(3) Accessed via CInt files perhaps, perhaps ROOT files, perhaps loaded into real DB, etc...
(4) Identical SIM and RECO frameworks
