Jets used are from:

origionally in /star/data05/scratch/zchang/2009jets/

 now in /star/institutions/lbl_prod/spin/run9/jets/2009jets/

From spot checking data, I found some bad files that didn't contain any data.

The bad files are:

10170013/st_physics_adc_10170013_raw_8330001.jets.root (only 6 entries)  

all files in directories 10171017/ and 10171020/

These bad files were not used in QA plots

I also noticed there were some directories that didn't contain any files.

These directories are:

10169079/ 

10178036/ 

10178037/ 

10179002/ 

10179096/ 

10179097/ 

10179098/ 

Everything else I checked looked ok.

To check the quality of the jets, I first looked at the average number of jets per event with no cuts. 

Most of the events had jets with Pt between 5 and 20 GeV and there aren't any large regions of higher average Pt.

I then looked at the average number of jets per run and average jet pt of a run, again without any cuts.

 I plotted average jet pt and average number of jets per run again this time using the cuts:

jet pt > 15 , |jet eta| < 0.9 , 0.005 < jet Rt < 0.95 , and |vertex z position| < 0.6

as well as average jet eta, average jet phi, average number of tracks, and average number of towers all with the same cuts.  

There were no outliers in any runs suggesting bad jets.

 I also looked at the average jet pt when selecting for jet patch 1 trigger and high tower trigger using the same cuts as before.
