run10143083
Run 10143083 (5/23)
The first 1,000,000 events from this run are analyzed. Configuration was "production2009_200Gev_Single / Physics"
The clusters are generated from Qtdata. These clusters differ from the "appended/internal" L1 DSM input clusters in two aspects. 1. Qt8 sums are NOT truncated. 2. The perimeter high towers are ignored according to Eleanor's table.
Total of 40 clusters, one for each Qt32 board, are compared to the threshold.
LED suppression is done by looking at the number of channels with ADC>10, and cutting at 800.
The hot cell from yesterday(North Large ch456) is cooled down now. But two different cells are now dominating in North Large. They are ch366 and ch418. Ch366 is a part of the inner most perimeter, and therefore excluded in the trigger document.
Number of trigger breakdown per module. Unlike previous analysis, now I'm basing this on the appended L1 data instead of the Qtdata. The differences are explained at the top of this page.
North Large: Total 157950 triggers, top 5 cells produced 64% of the NL triggers.
South Large: Total 79362 triggers, top 5 cells produced 26% of the SL triggers. ch282 that used to dominate the rate has been cooled down.
North Small: Total 47052 triggers, top 5 cells produced 15% of the NS triggers.
South Small: Total 72282 triggers, top 5 cells produced 13% of the SS triggers.
Overall, 66.5% of the trigger came from large cells.
For the following plots, the origin is South Up.

Trigger multiplicity
Mean ADC vs. Number of Triggers
Pseudo Rapidity vs. Number of Triggers
Attached spreadsheets show number of triggers, pseudo-rapidity, and phi for each cell. There is one for Qtdata based triggers, and another for L1 based triggers.
