FMS meeting 20110328 X-section etc 2
Cross-section and AN as of 3/28/2011
To do list
1. FInish the calibration. Incredibly, it's still not done yet. Something went odd over the weekend, and the counting rate between N and S are off by ~30% again. (I force them to be similar within reasonable bound imposed by mass) I'll need two more iteration, which takes about a day. This will impact how the AN "looks", more than anything, but within statistical uncertainty of course.
2. Flat-distribution simulation, when weighted correctly, is matching the full simulation very well. I will use this to contrain the efficiency correction and E_smeaing matrix.
3. After step 2, I can estimate the real systematics for X-sections. I intend to do this with brute force, by randomly varying my matrix within its error and recoding the deviation in the final result.
4. Background correction for X-ratio and AN for lower energy bins. All the pieces are there, and I just need to implement it.
