EPD around Sept 2017

In mid-September, 2018, a look back at just....

.... one year ago...

Just in September....
  • Joey completed the mechanical aspects of the scanning table, and Wanbing and Xinyue automated control and monitoring
  • After five months of continuous use of a large mill, machining scintillator finished.
  • We still had many unfinished supersectors.
  • We packed up the first batch of supersectors (and our Chinese friends) and headed to BNL
additionally:
  • FEE cards and Rx boards had not arrived at BNL.
  • SiPM boards had just arrived
  • MDR and other cables were still out
  • Clear fiber bundle production was moving full steam ahead, even while academic term was starting
