1. Combined Upsilon analysis - Shuai Yang
a) the large difference in the Upsilon yields when using pol5 or expo functions to model the combinatorial background is concerning. The results differ by a factor of more than 1.5. Need to understand better what shape is preferred in descrbing the background. Maybe try mixed-event?
b) Try simultaneous fitting of unlike-sign and like-sign distributions with TF1 by building chi2 by hand and scanning the fit parameters to find the minimum chi2.
c) Study the sentivity of results to the lower boundary of the fitting.
2. Jpsi and Upsilon embedding in Run11 AuAu 200 GeV - Zaochen Ye
a) The RefMult parameters need to be re-calcualted for |vz| < 100 cm cut using BBCMB data. Zaochen is going to do that since the Berkeley group is busy with the D0 analysis.
b) The UIC group will discuss offline and decide how many Jpsi/Upsilon mesons can be embedded per event.
c) Once the embedding team comes up with the resources needed for QM2017 embedding requests, some prioritizing might be needed in case not all the embedding requests can be fulfilled.
