2005 Dijet Cross Section Figure

Attached to this post is a copy of the 2005 Dijet Cross Section Figure. The systematic analysis is not quite complete, but this figure shows approximately what it will look like.

The top part of the figure shows the data with all corrections applied. The blue bars show the bin widths and statistical uncertainties for each bin. The yellow bars show the jet energy scale uncertainty (this part will probably change a little).

The the hatched boxes show the theory calculation from de Florian, et al. with and without the hadronization and underlying corrections applied. The calculations were integrated over the same bins as the data for easy comparison. The vertical dimension shows the scale uncertainty for the theory calculation.

The bottom plot shows a comparison of the uncertainties. The error bars are the statistical uncertainties on data in each band. The yellow band shows the jet scale uncertainty again. The dotted lines are the scale uncertainties. The points show (data - theory) / theory. Everything is normalized to the theory value for that bin.
