Preshower response (photons/electrons/hadrons)
Responses are based on 10 GeV primary particles. This will require a minimum energy cut on the FMS cluster energy of about 100 MeV or so. The energy loss in the scintillator for high energy photons is rising below this value, http://physics.nist.gov/PhysRefData/XrayMassCoef/ComTab/vinyl.html
