2009 Spin QA: pp2pp
2009 Spin QA: pp2pp
This page will detail my spin QA of the pp2pp fills from 2009.
The spin QA I performed on the pp2pp fills follows the same procedure I used for the 200 and 500GeV portions of Run 9. An outline of the procedure and the scripts used can be found on the page describing my efforts for 200GeV.
The original run list I generated spanning fills F11020 to F11032 (6/30/2009 - 7/4/2009) can be found here. The range of fills was motivated by a list of good pp2pp runs supplied by Alice Bridgeman which can be found here.
The list of fills with consistent spin data in the first and last run is here.
The list of fills with inconsistent spin data in the first and last run is here.
There were only three fills which appeared in the bad list and fixing them was quite easy, I will briefly describe what I did to recover them. The first bad fill was F11021, this fill contained only two runs, both of which were fmsSetupProd3. Neither run appeared on Alice's list of good runs so I removed the entire fill. The next bad fill was F11031, this fill had an error code of *fb suggesting that the database and run list disagreed on the start time of the fill. Removing run 10184038 which was pp2pp_Random fixes this fill and also fixes the last bad fill, F11032. Because none of the runs I removed appeard on Alice's list, I made no attempt to recover them.
The final run list containing the corrections listed above can be found here.
The final list of fills containing consistent spin data can be found here.
All fills have been fixed, so there is no list of bad fills.
