Run 9 200GeV RFF Jet Tree QA
Jet Tree QA
Here I present the results of a QA study I've done on the run 9 200GeV RFF Jet Trees produced by Pibero. The trees can be found in /star/scratch/pibero/2009jets/.
A text file which shows the mapping between run number and histogram bin number can be found here.
Below, I present several plots which show quantities of particular interest or which have odd features. All plots can be seen in this pdf file.
Figure 1: This plot shows quantities relating to the L2JetHigh trigger. The top pane shows the ratio of L2JetHigh to BBCMB-Cat2 (the appropriate luminosity monitor) as a function of run. The bottom pane shows for both the L2JetHigh and BBCMB-Cat2 triggers, the ratio of triggers seen in the jet files to the number of triggers expected from the cdev record.
Figure 2: This plot gives the same information as figure 1 for the JP1 trigger.
Figure 3:This figure shows the number of barrel, endcap, and overlap jet patches fired per event on a run by run basis. An enhancement of the number of overlap and endcap jet patches firing can be seen for run index ~135-210.
This study is still very preliminary and there are several oddities which need further investigation.
My QA code can be found at /star/u/pagebs/diJetAnalysis/jetFinderAnalysis/runQA/runQA.C.
