Run 9 200GeV 12 Point - 5 Point Endcap Jet Pt Correction Comparison

Here I compare the loss of jet pt as jets move into the endcap in the 12 point and 5 point jet branch. I also look at jet neutral fraction ...

Figure 1: This figure shows the detector jet pt / particle jet pt ratio as a function of the detector jet det eta. The points are the means of each bin and the error bars are the RMS spread. The 6 pannels show 6 different detector level jet pt ranges: [5,10), [10,15), [15,20), [20,25), [25,30), and [30+]. The top 6 pannels are for the 12 point branch and the bottom 6 pannels are for the 5 point branch.

Figure 2: This figure shows particle jet pt vs detector jet pt. Again, the points are the means in each bin and the error bars are the RMS spead. The 6 pannels show 6 different detector eta bins: [0.5,0.7), [0.7,0.9), [0.9,1.1), [1.1,1.3), [1.3,1.5), and [1.5,1.7]. The top 6 pannels are for the 12 point branch and the bottom 6 pannels are for the 5 point branch.

Figure 3: The figure below shows the particle and detector jet neutral fraction as a function of det eta. The top pannels show the particle jet neutral fraction and the bottom three pannels show the detector jet neutral fraction. The left pannels are for pt bin [5,10), the middle pannels are for pt bin [10,15) and the right pannels are for pt [15,20). The points are the means in each bin and the error bars are the RMS spread. This plot is for the 12 point branch.

Figure 4: Same as figure 3 but for the 5 point branch.

Figure 5: This figure shows the same quantities as figures 3 and 4 but now shows pt bins [20,25), [25,30), and [30+]. This shows the 12 point branch.

Figure 6: Same as figure 5 for the 5 point branch.

Figure 7: I have collected the mean values plotted in figures 3 - 6 and combined them for ease of comparison.
