Run 9 200GeV New Endcap Gain Simulation: 10 Run Test
Here I look at a 10 run embedding test sample Pibero created with the new endcap gains ...
The 10 RFF runs are: 10146050, 10146051, 10146052, 10146054, 10146055, 10146073, 10146084, 10146086, 10146087, and 10146091.
All eta spectra below are from an inclusive sample of jets. There are no trigger conditions applied. All jets which have a z vertex < |90 cm| and pass -0.7 <= detEta <= 1.7 and -0.8 <= eta <= 1.8 are taken.
Figure 1: This figure compares the jet eta and jet detector eta spectra from the simulation using the old endcap gains (Blue) and the new endcap gains (Red).
Figure 2: This figure shows the jet eta spectrum from the 2-3 GeV pt bin from run 10146073 for the old simulation (Top) and the new simulation (Bottom).
Figure 3: This figure again shows the old and new simulation jet eta and detector eta spectra except now I have removed run 10146073.
Figure 4: This figure compares the jet eta and detector eta spectra from the data created with the old endcap gains (Blue) with the simulation created with the old endcap gain (Red).
Figure 5: This figure compares the jet eta and detector eta spectra from the data created with the new endcap gains (Blue) with the simulation created with the new endcap gain (Red).
Figure 6: This figure compares the jet eta and detector eta spectra from the data created with the old endcap gains (Blue) with the simulation created with the new endcap gain (Red).
