Run 9 200GeV Dijet Cross Section SVD UEH Corrections (MRST & CTEQ)
Here I show the L2JetHigh cross section comparison to theory (with MRST and CTEQ6M PDFs) before and after the UEH correction ...
The UEH corrections I have shown on previous blogs have been done using the Bin-By-Bin method. I now want to do the correction using the SVD cutoff = 6 number of bins = 11 unfolding scheme I plan on using with my data. I will show the comparisons to theory generated using MRST2004 and CTEQ6M PDFs.
Figure 1: This figure shows the particle level (Red) and parton level (Blue) cross sections. The particle - parton difference in each bin is added to the theory values for the UEH correction.
Figure 2: This figure shows the L2 dijet cross section spectrum compared to MRST2004 theory before (top) and after (bottom) the UEH correction was made. The black curve shows data, the red curve shows the theory and the blue curves show the uncertainty range on the theory.
Figure 3: This figure shows the cross section (data-theory)/theory (MRST2004 theory) curves corresponding to the spectra shown in figure 2. Again, the top plot is before the UEH correction was applied and the bottom plot was after. The red curve shows (data-theory)/theory and the blue curves show (theoryErr-theory)/theory.
Figure 4: This figure is the same as figure 2 but now the theory was generated using the CTEQ6M PDFs.
Figure 5: This figure is the same as figure 3, showing the (data-theory)/theory curve as well as the theory uncertainty for the spectra shown in figure 4.
