Run 16 D+/- update - Jan Vanek
Updates on results with new TMVA tuned cuts. Large difference (factor of 3) from using input distributions from primary and global tracks, also to previous preliminary results. Suggestions to compare the topological distributions between the primary, global and earlier fastsim. Also compare the new TMVA cuts with old
Update on NPE v2 in 54 GeV Au+Au - Yuanjing Ji
Updated results with systematic uncertainties from embedding for photonic electrons. Suggestion to show break up of uncertainties from various sources for the final results - electron purity, spectra and v2 shapes and embedding efficiency
HF electron analysis with Run 16 Au+Au - Matthew Kelsey
Update with Run16 fits and results. Run 16 embedding QA shows difference for HFT ratio for pT>5 GeV/c between data and embedding. Wont affect results as no efficiency corrections are done. Photonic electron distributions match well between data and embedding. Gives good template fits. Suggestions/To Do: Improve constraint on photonic electron yield (currently let float up to 50%). Prioritize on getting FMS v2. Do shift correction for TPC EP. Error bars shown on D0-->e v2 curve is from MC sample size, better/remove. Study/try to separate correlated and uncorrelated uncertainties when combining Run14 and Run16
D0 production in d+Au - Lukas Kramarik
Updates on D0 reconstruction and PID efficiencies. Comments/Suggestions: Large drop in efficiency at high pT for fits to PID efficiencies are not realistic. Find a better fit function. Also check back on the PID efficiency evaluation at high pT, values seem lower than expected.
Paper proposal for Run15 Jpsi RpA analysis - Rongrong Ma
PWG agrees the proposal is mature enough to move forward. Comments/Suggestions: Why not include centrality dependent studies? PAs: Might not be ready in time to fit the time scale. Is it good to split results into y>0 and y<0? PAs: The Nch doesnt change much in this region, so wont be very useful
