HFT Code Readiness

* Resolved some issues with IstFastSimMaker... Amilkar is using the code from $CVSROOT/offline/hft - Need to inform Thomas of the new changes * HFT code Integration Status

HFT Sti Geometries

* General reminder: Sti volumes used in track reconstruction are defined based on the ROOT's TGeo geometry * Gene tried to run over Run 13 data with PXL Sti geometry included - We do not use the PXL hits in reconstruction - We have three PXL sectors with sensitive material defined (see picture) - Sensitive/active Sti volumes defined directly from TGeoNodes o Originally Jonathan defined these as one Sti volume per ladder (not a critical change...) - y2013_1 does not have PSUP ===> Need to use another y2013 geometry o Only DTUH volume is available * To do: - Switch to y2013 geometry that has all the three PXL sectors, DTUH, and PSUP - Add Sti volumes of inactive material between PXL layers 1 and 2 - Check with Gene if there is any effect seen from the extra material - Investigate the issue with IST Sti geometry. Automatic conversion places some volumes in the center (see picture)
