First FGT HV ramp history
Below is a brief summary of the first FGT HV ramping under colliding beam conditions of the various activites
for the owl shift from February 01, 2012 to February 02, 2012:
- Gerrit and I ramped all quarter sections to 3600V around midnight under colliding beams.
- The beams were lost while the quarter sections were on at 3600V - nothing tripped.
- Gerrit ramped then the quarter sections back up to 3600V and left it there for some time and ramped it back down to 2000V (standby).
- With a new fill, the HV was ramped around 01:10AM back to 3600V and then back to 2000V around 02:40AM.
- All quarter sections were at 2000V until 08:00AM when I ramped it to zero.
- Between 02:40AM and 08:00AM several attempts of filling and dumping / beam losses occurred.
- Not a single channel tripped during this time.
- After ramping the quarter sections to zero, I turned the crate off.
