FGT Commissioning Tasks / Cu-Au running
Trigger / Configuration:
- Low-multiplicity trigger
- A special configuration a al 'fgt_setup' will be prepared
- Data taking will be handed over to FGT crew (Bernd & Gerrit) taking runs under different parameter settings
- Need data available for fast offline processing
Tasks:
- HV:
- Data set 1:
- 90/10 : Perform scan for fixed HV of all 14 quarter sections (2700V - 3700V) with current latency
- Adjust HV to equalize response based on total cluster charge
- Choose mean HV such that efficiency is 'high' based on previous studies (Compare HV voltage values to set 14)
- Data set 2:
- Take high statistics run with new HV setting
- Data set 3:
- Take high statistics run with adjusted HV setting using track reconstruction
- Data set 1:
- Timing:
- Data set 4:
- Perform timing scan with adjusted HV setting
- Data set 4:
- Efficiency scan:
- Data set 5:
- Perform fine HV scan (50V steps) for disk 3 while keep HV for disks 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 at adjusted values
- Prepate efficiency vs. HV
- Data set 5:
- Gas:
- Change gas to 70/30 and 80/20 and repeat above steps (2 X three data sets plus efficiency scan)
