Vz Correction for 19.6 GeV 2019

Daniel Cebra had pointed out that the Vz dependence of the refMult edge (h) looks symmetric about Vz=0 after accounting for a linear dependence. I went ahead and fit the data to a line and applied a linear correction to compare the positive and negative Vz values. You can see in the figure below that after the correction, the Vz dependence is pretty symmetric. This tells me that the distribution is shaped mostly by the physical detector configuration, not by fluctuations in the refMult-edge fit quality. [discussion continued after figure]
We've seen that the sixth-order polynomial that has been used in the past smooths over these features as shown below. Since we can be confident that these features are physical, we probably don't want to smooth them over in our correction. I'm proposing we apply a point-wise Vz correction instead of using the sixth-order polynomial. I'd appreciate anyone's thoughts on this proposal. And if I get definite confirmation to do this or not, I can continue on with the 19.6 GeV centrality right away.
