2010 BTOW REPAIRS
Here is a summary of the repairs to BTOW during September and October of 2009.
1) Examine 4 sources of data to find problems:
a) PMT HV control program (masked channels)
b) Mathhew Walker: 2009 slope data
c) Matthew Walker: 2009 MIP data
d) 2009 LED data (about 2/3 of channels operating)
2) Made list of channels which had
a) Masked during run in PMT HV program
b) Have no mip/slope. If channel has LED, also eliminated from list of problem channels
c) Not in inaccessible PMT boxes: 9, 16, 23, 39, 46, 53
3) Examined each channel with oscilloscope to check for signal. Then examined PMT box connector, cable and FEE connector for problems.
4) Total of 44 channels recovered:
