Here I'm showing the effect of reweighting of embedding events to match the distribution of z vertices in data. The effect is small. There are however some anomalies at high absolute values of z vertex in embedding which don't appear in the data. I show how averages of some values (number of vertices, number of jets, average pt, average rt) are flat wrt z of the primary vertex in data but not embedding.

Errata:

• iu-local-meeting_2017_05_11_yaxisfix.pdf: Reweighting formula on the slide has a typo: it misses a square root around 2 in erf. Plots are not affected.
• iu-local-meeting_2017_05_11_yaxisfix.pdf: I've discovered that I've been by accident normalising data TProfile plots on slides 11-14 to embedding, which is a bad thing!
