iTPC sector 3 issue
The issue has been resolved. There was a cabling issue that resulted in outer sector voltage 1390V was applied to inner sector 1.
The cable issue was likely from Feb 13 until yesterday Feb 25in the afternoon. It should be double checked that 3-1 and 3-3 are cabled correctly.
The Looking at a run 20057013 from this morning the cluster charge vs. row looks just perfect
---- history
I noticed from last nights run that the iTPC sector looks very peculiar.
The online QA plots shows very high ADC intensity in the first 9 rows
The run is 055026 which I analyzed further:
online qa for 055001 also looks bad.
I the following plots I compare charge (from clusters) in row 9 from sector 3 with sector 2
All 9 rows 1-9 looks similar.
In a 2D plot for sector 3 the issue is very evident
You see the low gain and the high ADC count bump. I suspect this is the mapping of a HV section to the inner TPC, though not sure.
It was also checked that the features in row 1-9 is independent of time bin
I had an earlier run 32003 on disk which had enough statistics to see that the ADC looks ok for row 1-9 in that run.
Note RDO1 do have pads on row 10, so the problem is not with RDO.
