Here are a few ictures of the old beam pipe by the time it was inserted into the new cone (with FGT). 
In one pic you can see the Be section without the wrap, whereas the remaining has a think layer.
You can probably get the thick which looks like a few mm from the inner diameter of the supporting
'spider-web' The outermost part is Kapton as far I recall.
