Configured the IPMI interface for KVM over the network on the new trgscratch machine and started a SL 6.4 installation using the long unused rts03.starp.bnl.gov IP address temporarily.

Tried to straighten out a TigerDirect error on a purchase made last month for RAM modules for the OLP.  We had received the wrong DIMMs - very similar part numbers, but not the same, and thus not usable.  Rachel was able to get Tiger Direct to accept the return and (re-)ordered what was originally requested (fingers crossed they get it right this time). 

Installed an evaluation version of LabView 2013 on auteuil (though completely straightforward, the installation routine takes a long time) and brought over one set of VIs (the High Voltage controls) from emcsc, which seemed to work, though did not get anyone from the calorimeter group to take a look at it.  There were a few warnings from LabView about changes it made automatically to deal with some changes from the older LabView version, but they did not seem significant.

Two little details run across today to keep in mind

- to make MobaXterm settings, use one and only one instance of the application (had two open, made a setting change in one and closed it - the settings of the remaining one (unchanged) "took over", undoing the change I had made)
- I cannot get into the BCF after hours (or perhaps not at all?) - called 2238 and was told that system is not working anymore - the sergeant suggested I try my card anyway, which failed.  Gotta talk to Imran and find out what's going on.
